Birmingham Dogs Home receives £2,000 donation from mobility provider
Birmingham Dogs Home has received a £2,000 donation from Enterprise Mobility, a leading provider of mobility services.
The donation came after the charity was identified by Enterprise Mobility partner Multifleet Vehicle Management.
Enterprise Mobility has been a supplier of replacement vehicles to Multifleet, a fleet management and leasing company trading as runyourfleet, for many years.
Through the Enterprise Mobility partner grants programme, the two companies partnered together to help make the grant to Birmingham Dogs Home.
Joanna Lees, PR and marketing manager at Solihull-based runyourfleet, said: “Supporting local charities like Birmingham Dogs Home is incredibly important to us, as they do so much for our community.
“We saw an opportunity to partner with Enterprise Mobility and were thrilled when they approved a grant.
“It’s a real privilege to help a charity that gives every dog a second chance, and we’re committed to helping them continue their incredible work.”
Sophie Evans, corporate partnerships officer at Birmingham Dogs Home, said: “We’re so grateful to Enterprise Mobility for this grant, and to runyourfleet for putting us forward.
“We’ll make sure that this £2,000 goes towards the equipment and food to help our dogs feel as comfortable and loved as possible while they stay with us.”
Ross Joiner is the national strategic account manager at Enterprise Mobility, which has more than 450 branches across the United Kingdom.
Mr Joiner said: “We have a great relationship with runyourfleet and were happy to consider their suggestion of Birmingham Dogs Home as a potential charity to support.
“Jo told us about all the amazing work the charity does and that really helped when I put together the reasoning to support them.
“Each year we support good causes on behalf of our customers. As well as national charities, we love to support nonprofits making an impact in local communities.”
Mr Joiner added that runyourfleet had also previously volunteered alongside Enterprise Mobility at the FareShare food bank, one of Enterprise Mobility’s Fill Your Tank programme’s key partners.
He said runyourfleet had also taken part in a recent Enterprise Mobility charity football event to help raise £150,000 for Insurance United Against Dementia, supporting the Alzheimer’s Society.
runyourfleet is a fleet management and vehicle leasing company with a customer base of more than 1,200 businesses across the UK, providing fleet management services for 32,000-plus vehicles.
Customers range from accountancy firms to NHS ambulance services, using a wide range of services including fleet management, leasing, rental and salary sacrifice schemes.
