Birmingham Dogs Home to host Barking Breakfast event
The Midlands oldest and most loved animal welfare charity, Birmingham Dogs Home, has announced they will be hosting a unique networking event for local businesses.
On Wednesday 15th November, from 8am-11am, businesses are invited to experience a 'Barking Breakfast' where they will learn about wellbeing at work, from leading experts, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of meeting some of the charity's rescued puppies which they are currently caring for.
In addition, the charity team will be speaking about the importance of enrichment for a dog's wellbeing and showcasing their Business Patrons programme for 2024.
And, if that's not enough, there will be a delicious free breakfast, games and a raffle.
Sophie Evans, Corporate Partnerships officer at Birmingham Dogs Home, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our business supporters and new guests who are all very welcome to bring along their own pet dogs too, to this lovely dog friendly venue. We will also be bringing along some of the adorable puppies we are hoping to find new homes for, after their homeless Mum gave birth to a litter at our Birmingham rescue centre.”
Fi Harrison, Birmingham Dogs Home's head of Fundraising said: “It is always such a “pupular” event and a nice waggy end to everyone's the working week.”
