Birmingham Mind are bringing back their annual Mental Elf Festive Fun Run with the support of FASTSIGNS, a signage manufacturer based in Gravelly Hill.

The flagship fundraising event will take place on 29 November at Cannon Hill Park, with FASTSIGNS partnering to become an official event sponsor.

Birmingham Mind relies on the support from corporate sponsors to make their 5km Festive Fun Run a success. Over the past three years, over £53,000 has been raised through the event to support their vital mental health services across Birmingham and Solihull.

Tom Gilpin from FASTSIGNS said “As a young entrepreneur, I know firsthand the mental health challenges that can come with building a path for yourself.

“Now, as an employer and mentor, I see so many others, especially young people, facing those same quiet struggles every day.

“We are proud to sponsor the Mental Elf Festive Fun Run because Birmingham Mind provides the vital, on-the-ground support our community needs to ensure nobody has to face those challenges alone.”

Kerrie Henry-Edge (pictured), fundraising lead of Birmingham Mind, said: “Sponsoring Birmingham Mind’s Mental Elf Festive Fun Run isn’t just about getting your business in front of hundreds of festive runners, volunteers and spectators, it’s a powerful, visible way to show your commitment to supporting mental health across Birmingham and Solihull.

“If your company would like to find out more about becoming an event sponsor, or take part with your teams, please reach out to Kerrie on fundraising@birminghammind.org
