Birmingham summit aims to accelerate local AI and cloud tech skills
The AWS Community Summit (Comsum) Birmingham has launched its technical programme ahead of its highly anticipated West Midlands debut on 4 June at The Bond in Digbeth.
Supported by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and delivered in partnership with TechWM, the one-day conference brings the UK’s leading Amazon Web Services (AWS) practitioners together to tackle the rapid pace of cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) evolution.
Having successfully run in Manchester since 2018, this technical summit marks Comsum’s first expansion into the Birmingham technology ecosystem.
Designed specifically for software engineers, cloud architects, and technology leaders, the event features a packed, high-value agenda focused on real-world engineering excellence.
The event will feature:
- 16 technical talks: Led by premier AWS experts breaking down advanced cloud-native development and optimization strategies.
- Two hands-on workshops: Interactive sessions designed to help teams accelerate secure AI adoption and build robust cloud structures.
- Expert networking: Dedicated spaces for regional tech teams to benchmark infrastructure tactics and collaborate with industry peers.
All event tickets also include fully catered food and drink throughout the day, alongside a limited-edition Comsum t-shirt and custom memorabilia.
Business leaders looking to upskill their technology departments and secure a competitive digital edge can access exclusive booking incentives, including a 50 per cent registration discount (use promotional code 50OFF at checkout) and corporate block bookings (dedicated support is available for engineering teams of 10 or more employees looking to attend together).
