Blues unveil new men 's and women 's team sponsor
Birmingham City has unveiled a new major sponsor for both men 's and women 's kits in the 2021-22 campaign.
Online pharmacy SmartMeds will now adorn the front of the Women 's home shirts and the back of Men 's home shirts, while sister-brand Impact will take pride of place on the front of the women 's away kits and the back of men 's away kits.
Alongside the shirt deal, SmartMeds will be the club 's first health and wellbeing ambassadors, funding several fitness programmes with BCFC 's Community Trust as well as delivering educational sessions about health and diet in nearby schools.
SmartMeds has already sponsored the Community Trust 's Bootcamp courses, which are free to attend for all fitness levels and hosted by personal trainers from the club.
In addition, the medical professionals from SmartMeds will also work with the Trust 's next cohort of Fit Fans, providing the science behind a sustained healthy life having a positive impact.
Blues will also be launching its own line of supplements thanks to the team at away kit sponsor, Impact.
Lifestyle and training enhancers such as magnesium, zinc, turmeric and many more will be available from the club 's online store, with players and staff running regular features throughout next season on how each one can assist a healthier lifestyle.
Both brands are operated by the Birmingham-based V2M Pharma group, which has pledged five per cent of all Blues-generated profits from both the SmartMeds online pharmacy and Impact supplement sales to the club 's Community Trust.
Hardeep Rai at V2M Pharma said: “Birmingham City FC is the heart of our city; the aim of our partnership is to support the club, fans and the communities of Birmingham to educate them into a healthier and sustainable lifestyle.
