Boat Inn owner takes up Harvey Nichols residency

Chef and owner of The Boat Inn, Liam Dillon, is bringing his culinary expertise to Birmingham, with weekly pop ups at the Harvey Nichols Brasserie every Monday this June.

Liam has trained at world-renowned restaurants including Marcus Wareing, La Becasse, Five Fields and Story, as well as stints at Noma, Eleven Madison Park & Quay.

He competed in Series 16 of Great British Menu 2021, representing the central region, and has been chef-owner of Michelin-recommend and three AA Rosette restaurant The Boat Inn, in Lichfield since 2017.

His pop up at Harvey Nichols will consist of a six-course tasting menu, featuring some of his Great British menu classics, his fish course 'The Apple ' and pre-dessert 'The Jigsaw '.

Guests will have the option to order drinks from the a la carte Bar menu or from a specially designed wine pairing menu, curated by Wine Specialist Michael Tully. The menu will cater for vegetarians, pescatarians and gluten free dining.

Richard Morris, retail operations manager at Harvey Nichols Birmingham commented, “We 're really looking forward to reopening our Bar on 17 May, and have some great foodie pop-ups planned to celebrate local chefs and produce in our Brasserie events space, starting with Liam Dillon this June. ”
