Botanical Gardens announces 2022 Christmas parties
Birmingham Botanical Gardens is to be transformed into a magical winter wonderland as it gets ready for its annual series of Christmas parties.
The parties are scheduled between November 24 and December 23 at the Edgbaston heritage venue suites. Guests can experience snow-kissed Christmas trees, seasonal dcor and cosy comforts associated with this time of the year.
Three course meals will also be available after the opening of grade II listed gardens.
Tickets start from £50 per person for exclusive parties and £45 per person for shared parties. The price includes a welcome festive cocktail on arrival, three-course festive meal in a winter wonderland themed venue, a DJ and late disco with a cash bar. Parking is available but limited.
The Botanical Gardens works as a charity and receives no regular public funding. Instead, it relies on the generosity of public donations, grants and the income it can generate through conferences, weddings and other events.
The 15-acre site, just one mile from the city centre, is set within a conservation area and has more than 7,000 formally documented plants with the largest and most diverse botanic collection in central England.
Dean Rees, head of sales, said: “This year we have planned a wonderful series of Christmas parties, where members of the public can buy tickets to dine in the botanical gardens, which will be dressed in its Christmas finery.
“As well as these events, we have several evenings available for exclusive booking should any group, organisation or business wish to have the venue entirely for themselves to create that magical Christmas evening just for themselves. ”
