Brewers star wows youngsters at festive soccer school

Burton Albion star Joe Dodoo greeted excited youngsters at a Christmas Soccer School this week.

The Brewers forward visited the Pirelli Stadium Community 3G pitch following yesterday 's training session, much to the excitement of the young participants.

The Christmas Soccer School is run by the Burton Albion Community Trust.

Dodoo took part in a question and answer session before competing in a crossbar and penalty shoot-out competition.

The appearance ended by Dodoo signing programmes and other Burton Albion merchandise.

He said: "It was great fun today and I loved being there.

"The children were really engaged with the coaches and I was made to feel really welcome.

"It's great to see that Burton offers this service to the local community as I know some clubs don't still delivery soccer schools.

"I had a great laugh and I hope to return again soon!"
