Burton Albion Football Club is asking supporters to take part in the inaugural fans meeting to “play your part in the new chapter and have a say on your club,” in a new statement released.

Fans are requested to attend the first meeting at the Pirelli Stadium tomorrow, July 17 from 6 to 8pm.

NFG founder and deputy chairman Tom Davidson, CEO Fleur Robinson and head of community John Widdowson will all be in attendance for the meeting.

A club statement said: “This is a new way of working together with our fans for the sole benefit of our football club.

“We appreciate that you may not be able to attend every meeting that we organise due to life commitments and that is fine too, we want this to be a rewarding and fun experience for all that participate, as often as they can.

“We want this group to continue to grow and play an integral part in the direction of the club going forward, so please feel free to invite your friends and family to get involved too.

“Thank you for your incredible support of our football club as always.”
