Broadcaster and sports presenter to host Asian Business Chamber awards

Accomplished broadcaster and sports presenter Amber Sandhu is set to host the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce awards night – taking place at The National Conference Centre on 27 November.

The awards night will recognise business excellence from across the region with 250 delegates attending.

Ten awards will be handed out in the night where one award winner set to be crowned as the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year for 2025.

Amber, who also hosted the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year awards last month, was named as Radio Presenter of the Year.

She began her career as an intern at the BBC, quickly earning presenting opportunities across BBC Radio WM, the Asian Network, and Midlands Today, including prominent coverage during the Commonwealth Games.

Since then, she has gone on to cover some of the UK's biggest sporting events, including The Hundred, the Women’s Ashes, and regular reporting across the Premier League for Sky Sports News.

Beyond the studio, Amber is also a dedicated event host and a proud ambassador for the Wolves Foundation where she continues to be an advocate for her city and championing community outreach, youth engagement, and empowerment.  

Speaking about the upcoming awards, Amber said: “I’m really excited to be hosting this year's ABCC awards - I can't wait to celebrate all the fantastic businesses we have in our region and give out some well deserved recognitions and rewards.

Tickets for the event are priced at £120 plus VAT per person.

A corporate table of 10 is priced at £1200 plus VAT and a platinum table of 10 with prime location seating and a VIP food menu is £1500 plus VAT.
