Charity appeals to local businesses to back Mount Snowdon trek

A Sutton Coldfield charity has launched an appeal for local businesses to back a vital cause by joining a trek to the summit of Mount Snowdon.

As proud members of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, Acacia Family Support is inviting local businesses to take on the unforgettable challenge with a powerful purpose.

A spokesman for the charity said: “On Saturday 7 June 2025, join us for one of our most popular fundraising events - a spectacular trek up Mount Snowdon - all in aid of supporting families across Birmingham affected by pre- and postnatal mental health challenges.

“Whether you’re looking to tackle a bucket-list adventure, strengthen team morale and wellbeing or deliver meaningful community impact through CSR, this is a unique opportunity to do all three, in one day.

“We’re thrilled to already have Kate Curry from Cudos signed up, and we’d love to see more local businesses get involved.

“As a small Birmingham-based charity, support from local companies makes a huge difference - not just in raising vital funds, but in showing families that their community cares.”
