Burley Browne announces further industrial sale
Sutton Coldfield-based chartered surveyors Burley Browne have announced the sale of the former Beacon Woodcraft premises, 170 Queens Street, Premier Business Park, Walsall to a private investor.
The sale marks the successful conclusion to a busy marketing campaign which required best and final bids process due to the high level of competing interest, resulting in offers being submitted well in excess of the quoted asking price of £450,000.
The property comprises a detached industrial/workshop building incorporating two storey offices to the side elevation. The building benefits from three access roller shutter doors to the elevation fronting Queens Street together with off-road parking for approximately 5 to 6 vehicles. Internally the building offers largely open plan workshop space leading onto two storey cellular offices with stores and WC 's. The property also incorporates a large mezzanine which covers the majority of the workshop area.
Ben Nicholson, senior associate director said: “This sale again demonstrates the continued high level of demand for freehold workshops style premises. The building is situated in a popular and well-established commercial position within Walsall town centre and due to the high level of interest, we were required to invite best and final bids, all of which were in excess of the quoting asking price.
“Conclusion of this disposal is further evidence of the positive market conditions we are experiencing since the turn of the new year in the commercial property market. ”
