Burton Albion FC players Jonny Smith and Jasper Moon visited local primary school Edge Hill this week alongside staff from Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT).

The two players took part in invasion games, before swapping kicking a ball for hitting a ball with a stick in a game of hockey.

After the session the two took time to answer questions about football, FIFA and life before posing for photos with the groups.

BACT School Sport coordinator Reece Brown said: “The kids have been excited for a long time since I told them the first team lads were coming and they absolutely loved their time with them."

Brewers winger Jonny Smith said: “I 've certainly not played much hockey recently it was definitely something different!

“The kids were brilliant fun and it was nice to do something different and muck in with the kids. ”
