Burton businesses rally to sponsor SARAC’s Pearl Ball
Businesses operating in Burton has united to sponsor the upcoming Pearl Ball organised by the Sexual Abuse and Rape Advice Centre to commemorate their 32nd anniversary.
Many members of Burton & District Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring the event.
These include Rushton Hickman as Change a Life Package sponsor, Serrano Media as design & marketing sponsor, Astle Paterson as welcome drinks sponsor, and Branston Golf & Country Club as venue sponsor.
Reflex Print has also been announced as the event print sponsor.
Guests attending the ball will be welcomed with a complimentary drink on arrival and the event will feature a range of fundraising opportunities, including a raffle and auction, giving attendees multiple ways to support the charity’s work.
Throughout the night, guests will also be invited to capture memories at a dedicated photo booth and enjoy close‑up performances from a roaming magician.
Speaking about the ball, SARAC CEO Caroline Fotheringham, said: “We hope to see you at our Pearl Ball event on April 24, where the room will be filled with business owners, community groups, allies, staff, and volunteers.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to thank the Burton & District Chamber of Commerce for choosing SARAC as their Charity of the Year for 2025–2026, and to celebrate our dedicated team for their commitment to supporting victims and survivors over the past 12 months.
“It promises to be an evening of fundraising, heartfelt moments, laughter, and a touch of magic. We are truly grateful to everyone who has supported us in any way, and we look forward to seeing you!”
Sophie Allen, founder of Serrano Media, said: "I'm honoured to be sponsoring the design & marketing for SARAC's Pearl Ball.
“It's actually Serrano Media's first time sponsoring an event and it was a no-brainer when the opportunity arose because I truly want to support SARAC's mission.
“The number of survivors they have helped, and continue to help, within their community is commendable.
“I've seen the positive impact and the difference their services have made in people's lives, and I'm proud to stand with them."
Tickets for the event are priced at £75 while a table of 10 costs £675.
