YMCA Burton has launched their Easter campaign to raise vital funds to support essential services.

As part of their campaign, they hosted their sell-out annual curry night at Apne on March 13, which has been continuously and graciously supported by the restaurant 's owner, Mr Hussain, for over 10 years.

They were joined by brilliant local singer Chris Baldwin, who provided entertainment for the evening.

YMCA Burton will also be hosting a Quiz on Tuesday, 18 April at Holland Sports Club, Barton under Needwood. This promises to be another enjoyable evening, providing an opportunity to socialise, relax and above all, have fun with friends, colleagues, or family.

The tickets are just £10 for a team of 4. Please contact the fundraising team for tickets and further details.

Following a year of challenges, YMCA Burton 's crucial frontline services have faced unprecedented demand, with waiting lists forming for some services for the first time ever.

As the harsh realities of the cost of living crisis continue to affect everyone, donations and support are even more essential as an increasing amount of people are being affected and struggling on a daily basis to cover bills and food.

YMCA Burton rely on the support of others to continue to provide the breadth of services available so any support offered is always greatly appreciated.

Paula Senior, fundraising and partnerships manager at YMCA Burton has said, “The last 12 months have been very challenging as all of our services have experienced extremely high demand.

“With the cost of living continuing to rise and challenges becoming more difficult to overcome, the demand isn 't easing. Therefore, any support that anyone can offer would make a massive difference, not only to the charity, but also to the lives of those who we support. ”

The charity invite individuals to become 'Friends of YMCA Burton ' by signing up to either give a one-off donation or donate on a more regular, monthly basis, to continue to support their breadth of services during such difficult times.
