Burton community trust makes new appointments to leadership team
The Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) has announced a couple of internal promotions to its leadership team while announcing the departure of community manager Paul Gaskin.
Paul will leave BACT to take up a new role with Leicestershire Cricket Club. He joined BACT in 2018 and has been part of the management and leadership team for over five years.
Meanwhile, Katie Johnson has been appointed as the community manager and Suzanne Syson is has been promoted to health and wellbeing manager.
Katie joined BACT full time in 2016 after two years as a casual member of staff. Katie has helped BACT in many ways including delivering school sport projects and coordinating and overseeing the school sport team.
Katie will oversee the trusts day to day operations working alongside the theme managers, while developing the events and fundraising projects.
has a wealth of experience and knowledge forged from a career in the NHS as a nurse educator and manager. Working with the Health and Wellbeing team Suzanne will develop and grow the trusts community health offer across the themes of work.
