Burton electrical contractor announces management buyout
Burton-based electrical contractor Yee Group and Cool Services Ltd have completed a management with long-standing senior leaders Jason Cooper and Annette Eyley assuming ownership of the business.
Jason Cooper will take on the role of group managing director, with Annette Eyley appointed as group finance director.
This transition follows the decision of current group managing director, Simon Chapman, to retire after 40 years of leadership of Yee Group.
Having founded and built the business into a highly respected and successful contractor, Simon now plans to retire to spend more time with his family, travel, and pursue his long-standing passion for motorsports.
Jason Cooper said: "We are incredibly proud to take ownership of a business with such a strong legacy.
“Having been part of the leadership team for many years, we are committed to building on the solid foundations already in place and continuing to deliver outstanding service to our customers."
Annette Eyley (pictured) added: "This is an exciting step forward for the business. Our priority is to ensure continuity for our customers, partners, and employees, while continuing to support the company’s long-term growth."
The company will continue to operate as normal, with no changes to its structure, services, or customer relationships.
The company began as a domestic electrical and security installer in Burton on Trent.
Today, it is a multi-discipline electrical contractor, serving commercial clients with electrical, security, fire and air conditioning systems across the East and West Midlands.
The group incorporates Yee Group headquartered in Burton on Trent and specialist air conditioning company Cool Services based in Shrewsbury and Dudley.
