Burton recruitment specialists support local charity ball

Burton-based recruitment specialists Maintech Recruitment will be partnering with SANDS to launch a charity ball.

It has been organised by Emma Whiting, who is holding the event in memory of her son Reuben.

The SANDS charity supports anyone affected by the death of a baby by helping to improve the care bereaved parents receive and aim to create a world where fewer babies die.

Taking place on Friday, 10 October at the Pirelli Stadium, the charity ball promises to be an unforgettable evening with arrival drinks from 6pm, a three-course meal, entertainment including a raffle, auction, photographer and live music.

Tickets are priced at £65 per person or tables of 10 are available. Invoices can be provided for business and networking purposes.

Speaking about the event, Maintech Recruitment managing director Emma Devereux said: “We are honoured alongside the other local businesses to be able to support Emma’s event, having attended a couple of years ago it was a fantastic night.

“I truly hope never to be in a position to have to use the SANDS charity but for those that do this is an invaluable support.”

Emma Whiting said: “Having the support from not only Maintech but other local businesses really is hugely appreciated.

“Derby SANDS is a lifeline to those around the Staffordshire area, to be able to support them means so much to me and honouring my Little Roo's memory whilst doing so makes the event extra special.

“We will make a change and help to support the amazing work SANDS does for families who have been in my position.”
