Business breakfast event to increase awareness around robotic technology
Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) and Business Development Midlands Ltd (BDM) have partnered up with WMH Robotics to give local residents and businesses the opportunity to find out more about the robotic arms available and the strategic human-robot partnerships 'COBOT '.
The Business Breakfast Event will take place on 24 February at WMH Robotics, 2 Centurion Way, Wilnecote, Tamworth B77 5PN between 8.30am - 11am.
WMH Robotics have amazing opportunities and career paths available with apprentices progressing in to management positions and SSW is currently supporting WMH Robotics via Business Development Midlands to upskilling of their staff. They are also utilising the SSW service to further develop their leadership and management capabilities.
The majority of staff at WMH Robotics will also be enrolling on the team skills training programme to enhance collaborative working within the business.
The event aims to:
- Open the doors of the facility to the local community to increase awareness of robotic technology
- Highlight the investment in staff WMH Robotics have made and are continuing to make with training centres currently being developed on site
- Demonstrate robot arms “in action ” whilst giving visitors an opportunity to network and have a coffee
