A business mastermind network have put their heads together to support YMCA Sutton Coldfield.

Members of the Meta4 Mastermind Network - led by business coach and former Sutton Coldfield Chamber vice-president Clare Whalley - are giving a much-needed refresh and upgrade to the charity 's residents lounge.

YMCA Sutton Coldfield offers a safe place to stay for 18 to 30-year-olds who are sofa surfing or trying to escape a conflict at home.

Clare and the team are calling for support as the look to give the lounge a refresh on Wednesday 25 January.

Clare said: “We have a handful of people-power volunteers so far, but we need more help with sourcing materials to help create a true transformation that we know will create a space that feels more like home. ”

Business people who can spare time, money, resources or creative ideas are encouraged to contact Clare.

Rachel Dutta Choudhury, fundraising manager at YMCA Sutton Coldfield, said: ”Thanks to Clare and everyone else who gets involved as this will make such a huge difference to the young people we work with, to have a space that feels homely and comfortable makes an incredible difference. ”
