Business owners across Burton and surrounding areas are being encouraged to attend a dedicated exit strategy event that will help them navigate the important decisions that come at the end of their business journey.

Organised by Alexander Accountancy, the event will take place at Burton Rugby Football Club at 4.30pm on Thursday, 24 September.

The event is designed to provide practical guidance to owners facing a range of options as they approach their exit, whether that involves closing the business, pursuing a management buyout, selling as a going concern, or exploring other opportunities.

Attendees will hear from speakers representing CMC Partners, Alexander's Financial Planning, and Nelsons Solicitors, each bringing specialist expertise to guide attendees through different aspects of the exit process.

The speakers will cover key considerations for business owners including what happens to client contracts, assets, financial planning and legal requirements. As part of the event guests will also have the chance to enjoy a wine tasting challenge.

Alexander Accountancy chairman David Alexander (pictured) said: "Many business owners spend decades building something valuable, but very few take the time to plan how they will exit that business or what happens to the proceeds.

“This event is about giving owners the knowledge and confidence to make the right choices for themselves and their families at a critical time.

Tickets are priced at £49.95 per couple and can be booked by contacting info@alexander-accountancy.co.uk/ 01283 743 851
