Businesses invited to get free US market entry health check worth £2,500
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce members are invited for a comprehensive 30-minute consultation with US expansion specialists for free during an event happening on March.
Organised by US market entry specialists Allentra, the event will take place on 18 March.
The half-day clinic brings US-based legal, tax, and talent specialists to Birmingham for expert presentations, live Q&A, and optional one to one consultations.
The initiative has been introduced during a time where companies discover critical gaps in their US market entry plans 12-18 months after launch, leading to entity structure mistakes, undetected state tax obligations, IP vulnerabilities, and employment law missteps.
The consultation will include specific observations on potential issues, common gaps seen in similar situations, and the critical questions businesses should be asking before committing capital.
It also includes;
- Financial model assumptions vs. US cost reality
- Entity structure and tax positioning for business models
- Compliance requirements often missing from UK-built plans
- Go-to-market strategy feasibility based on your resources
- Team capability considerations for multi-market execution
Ian Collins (pictured), founder of Allentra, said: “The biggest risk in US expansion isn’t ambition, it’s building plans on incomplete assumptions.
“Our Health Check helps leadership teams pressure test their go to market strategy, operating model and financial expectations against US realities, while identifying compliance gaps around areas like IP protection, insurance, tax exposure and employment.
“The aim is simple: clarity before capital is committed.”
