Cancer charity to celebrate 25 years of community support with black-tie ball
The Cancer Support Centre in Sutton Coldfield has announced the launch of its 25th Anniversary Black-Tie Ball, a landmark event to celebrate a quarter-century of providing vital support to local cancer patients and their families.
The ball will take place on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at the Moor Hall Hotel, and the charity is calling on the local business community to join them in their celebration.
The black-tie ball promises to be a night of elegance, entertainment, and heartfelt reflection on the charity's journey. It is a key fundraising event, with all proceeds directly supporting the services the Centre offers, from counselling and complementary therapies to well-being classes and support groups. These services ensure that no one faces a cancer diagnosis alone.
The charity is inviting businesses to demonstrate their community spirit by purchasing a table of 10 for £700, or by attending individually at £75 per person. For businesses looking to make an even greater impact, there are fantastic sponsorship opportunities available, including sponsoring a table for £350 (includes 2 guest tickets) or becoming the official drinks reception sponsor for £1,000.
These opportunities not only provide a chance to give back but also offer prominent exposure to a network of like-minded individuals and corporate partners.
Shaun Cremins, a Trustee for The Cancer Support Centre, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the milestone: "I am so proud of the work The Cancer Support Centre has done over the last 25 years. This charity is an anchor of hope and a source of strength for so many in our community.
“Every day, I am in awe of the dedication of our staff and volunteers and the resilience of those we serve. Our 25th Anniversary Ball is not just a celebration; it's a vital call to action. We urge our local business community to get behind this event—your support is what allows us to continue our critical work. Let’s make this a night to remember and secure our future for the next 25 years."
In addition to ticket and sponsorship sales, the event will feature an exclusive raffle and auction. The charity is seeking generous donations of prizes to make these fundraising efforts a success. From unique experiences to luxury items, every contribution will help maximise the funds raised for a truly worthy cause.
