Andy Smith, neighbourhood officer at Cannock Chase Council said “The first jobs fair in Rugeley has been a tremendous success. It was a great opportunity for local people looking for work to meet employers face to face. ”

Samantha Saunders - regional operations manager at Jobs 22 said “It 's been great to bring participants and employers together and promote local opportunities, it's about fostering a sense of community and collaboration towards a brighter future for all.

“I look forward to Partnering with Cannock Chase Council and Cannock Job Centre in the near future to bring more jobs and skills fairs to the area. ”

Donna Linton, Senior Employer Services Consultant at Jobs 22 said “Rugeley 's Community Centre is a great venue for our jobs fairs, so we were able to welcome lots of employers and jobseekers alike.

“It 's hard for many companies to recruit right now but they should know that help is out there in the form of programmes like the Restart Scheme and the National Careers Service. We can make introductions to eager, work-ready local residents and handle candidate screening, interviews, training and induction processes. ”
