Celebrity chef joins the Lichfield Food and Drink Festival line-up

Renowned chef, television personality and author Rosemary Shrager has been announced as a headliner of the Festival Flavour Stage at this summer’s Lichfield Food & Drink Festival.

The festival takes place across the August Bank Holiday weekend (23 to 25 August).

Rosemary will take to the stage in The Hub at St Mary’s for a series of four live cooking demonstrations across Saturday and Sunday, bringing her trademark culinary flair, warmth and wit to the heart of Lichfield.

Best known for her appearances on Ladette to Lady, The Big Family Cooking Showdown, and I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, she is sure to be a major draw for food lovers of all ages.

The all-new Festival Flavour Stage promises a vibrant programme of demos and tastings, blending celebrity appeal with local talent.

Rosemary (pictured) said: “Food brings people together, and festivals like Lichfield’s are the perfect way to inspire cooks of all ages. I’m looking forward to rolling up my sleeves, having some fun, and showing that delicious, seasonal food can be simple and joyful.”

The Festival Flavour Stage is being provided free of charge, with The Hub at St Mary’s providing the venue and Leafbone Ltd sponsoring the stage.

This year’s Lichfield Food & Drink Festival will see 100 stalls pop up across the city centre, offering handmade gifts, street food, sweet treats and handcrafted drinks, creating a family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages.
