CEO Stories: Beverly Lindsay - the accidental businesswoman
Beverly Lindsay - founder of Diamond Travel and Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the West Midlands - is the subject of episode four of the Chamber 's CEO Stories podcast which launches today.
The episode is available to listen to now.
Beverly is a self-confessed “accidental businesswoman ” who has faced more than her fair share of adversity.
Since arriving in Birmingham from Jamaica as a teenager, she has encountered personal struggles, family tragedy and significant threats to her business.
But the Diamond Travel founder has shown resilience in abundance to overcome those challenges and become a prominent West Midlands business figure - while also helping to break down barriers within her own community.
CEO Stories is hosted by Henrietta Brealey, who last year became the youngest chief executive in the Chamber 's history.
Throughout the series, Henrietta is joined by a variety of well-known and emerging business leaders, who will reveal what makes them tick, who inspired them and the advice they would give to aspiring CEOs.
A new episode is published on the first Monday of every month.
