Chamber announces successful applicants for small business start-up academy
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce recently launched a development programme designed to boost start-ups and small businesses.
Successful candidates from Solihull who have been chosen to take part in the programme include:

The Academy aims to support the growth of start-up and small businesses by providing workshops, support and accesses to Greater Birmingham business experts from key sectors.
It will be run by Jayne Hume (pictured), relationship manager at GBCC supported by Leaders from Elite Closing Academy, Entec Si, SME Outsourcing, Curium Solutions and Big Cat Agency will be speaking at the sessions.
The programme will feature six half-day sessions at Birmingham City University 's STEAMhouse, with expert speakers providing insights that can help small businesses save time and money.
Leaders from Elite Closing Academy, Entec Si, SME Outsourcing, Curium Solutions and Spotty Dog Communications will be speaking at the sessions.
Business owners who graduate from the Academy will have the chance to be selected for a two-hour one-to-one mentoring session with one of the experts.
Holly Vaughan, co-founder and company director of The Recruitment Duo, says she is delighted to have been chosen to participate in the academy: “The Recruitment Duo are delighted to have been selected for the Start Up and Small Business Academy. After setting up in October 2021, we are still in the infancy of getting to grips with running our business, and we know with the support of the Chamber and their experts, the Academy will provide an incredible platform to support and equip us with further skills to enhance ourselves in our roles as directors.
Equally pleased to be selected is Sally Dhillon from Nudge Forward Ltd who said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Start Up Academy. The first session will be taking place on Friday 10 March.
