Chamber chair chasing awards treble

Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce 's honorary chair Katie Hale has been shortlisted in three categories at a major awards ceremony recognising West Midlands business leaders.

Katie (pictured) is nominated for the Public & Third Sector, Empowering Potential and Professional Services awards at the BusinessDesk.com 's West Midlands Leadership Awards.

The awards, sponsored by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce patron Curium Solutions, are due to take place on 9 July at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham city centre.

Katie runs her own business, Halestorm Marketing, but has been recognised for her work with the Sutton Chamber where she served as president for two years until last year.

She said: “I am thrilled to be nominated for the work that I 've done with the Chamber of Commerce.

“I remember feeling so honoured taking on the presidency role. Now being shortlisted for these awards is just the icing on the cake!

“My thanks go to Chris Legget who encouraged me to go for the awards. I 'm very much looking forward to celebrating face to face. ”
