Chamber launches new events in the Brexit series
Supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) are delivering a range of events to inform local businesses about the latest Brexit-related developments.
The newly launched events are the third and fourth in the Brexit series. The previous events focused on 'People ' and 'Regulatory divergence '.
Since the end of the transition period, the future of trading with Europe has changed. Attend the third event in The Brexit Series to find out what is on the horizon for businesses when trading with Europe and how your business can adapt.
The events give opportunities for businesses to network with likeminded individuals, find out how your business could benefit from post Brexit- funding and you can hear how other firms have adapted to the new European trading landscape.
The events also offer businesses an overview of how they could be impacted by incoming developments. All events are free to attend.
The first event focuses on 'The future of trading with Europe ' and is taking place on Wednesday, 18 January at the offices of Pinsent Masons. Speakers will include representatives from Pinsent Masons, Birmingham City Council and Pi-Kem.

Raj Kandola, head of policy at GBCC said: “Analysis from our latest Quarterly Business Report survey revealed the ongoing disruption that many businesses continue to face when trading with their European counterparts.
“Whether its additional costs, further delays or increased paperwork, there are a number of issues which continue to impact local firms and that 's why these events are so important.
“The Brexit series offer local businesses free advice on how to alleviate these issues but also offer specific technical advice on trading arrangements and the practical support businesses need to smooth trade flows - I would urge local businesses that trade internationally to book on. ”
