Chamber launches president 'meet and greet ' sessions
Invitations are being sent to all Solihull Chamber members to join a Teams call to meet Eileen Schofield, Solihull Chamber President.
The meetings will be taking place via teams throughout May/June, and are a follow up from the Solihull AGM which took place recently.
In her President 's address at the AGM, Eileen (pictured) said: “Solihull Chamber has a vibrant and engaged membership ably led by the head of Solihull Chamber Samantha Frampton. Sam is driven, determined and focused to provide the best opportunities of networking, education and collaboration that that the Chamber can offer. Her energy is boundless.
So, what will the next 12 months look like under my Presidency; I have always considered that if something is working well don 't take it apart, with that in mind I fully intend to continue with the Chamber committee sub-groups of Events & Social, Work Inspiration and Member Growth. These groups as a fantastic asset to Solihull Chamber.
“They enable the committee to really drive forward initiatives and ensure that members have a voice and opportunity to engage and participate in key areas of excellence and developing areas in support of Solihull and the Chamber.
“I would like to ensure that members feel they are getting a benefit out of the Chamber. I have been a Solihull chamber member since I started my employment law practice in 2010. Throughout that time the Chamber has facilitated and created opportunity for my Firm to win business and raise our profile.
“I want to ensure that through the events, the objectives of the committee sub groups, the opportunity to cross network around the other divisions of the chamber that these opportunities are open to all members and furthermore that the members are engaged and encouraged to avail themselves of all opportunities to promote and grow their businesses
“I very much look forward to working with you all, getting to know you and your businesses and to support your growth, viability and visibility across the region. ”
Speaking on the announcement of the meetings, Eileen said: “I am absolutely delighted to take up the role of President of Solihull Chamber and want to take the opportunity as I start my term of office to meet you personally and share with you our plans for the next two years.
“We also want to ensure that we are listening to you and taking on board your views about the chamber, what we do well and how we can improve if that 's possible! You will also have an opportunity to meet some of your fellow chamber members in a smaller more intimate and exclusive group. If you cannot attend personally can you please arrange for one of your colleagues to attend to represent your business.
“I look forward to seeing you for our online meeting.
