Chamber member collaboration leads to successful recruitment

Two members of Burton and District Chamber of Commerce have successfully worked together to recruit a communications and engagement specialist.

After meeting at a Chamber networking event, Ring Ring recruitment director Claire Barber had helped MIH Solutions director Jon Beech recruit a communications and engagement specialist on a full time role.

Ring Ring Recruitment are a boutique staffing agency providing top talent throughout the UK.

Claire Barber set up Ring Ring Recruitment after relocating to Staffordshire from South Wales. With over five years’ experience in the recruitment sector and over 30 years’ experience in sales, marketing and events, Claire specialises in providing a high quality service to clients across the UK and also to help candidates secure great new roles in their chosen fields.

Having worked with sole traders to blue-chip companies – such as BMW and Virgin Trains, Claire recently completed 15 months at Hill Helicopters (based in Rugeley, Staffordshire), primarily as their customer relationship manager, but additionally supporting recruitment in-house.

Claire said: “When you start any business cash is king and I was worried that joining the Chamber perhaps wouldn’t work the way I hoped.

“I’m delighted to say it's been the best decision yet. I was always given a very warm welcome at every networking event I have attended and have met superb contacts that I look forward to catching up with regularly.

“I met my very first client at a December event and it has been a huge pleasure working with MIH Solutions based in Bretby."
