Chamber members called to vote on committee nominees

Members of Solihull Chamber of Commerce are being called to vote in its council executive committee election.

Seventeen business leaders are standing to be elected as a committee members of the Chamber's council. There are seven committee member vacancies available.

Chamber council executive committee members meet five to six times a year, and act as ambassadors of the Chamber, represent views of business and help shape Chamber policy.

Those standing for election include:

Stacey Ryan, Oxbridge

Lillian Elekan, head of Solihull Chamber, said: "The Solihull Chamber Council represents the interests and concerns of all our members, I quite often refer to the Council as being the voice of our members. It is absolutely fantastic to have so many members put themselves forward to be part of our council, especially during these challenging times in business.

"I would like to encourage all our Solihull members to therefore take a good look at the candidate profiles and vote for who they would like to represent them over the next two years."
