Two Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce members were among the guest speakers who inspired Highclare School pupils with a talk on future careers.
Joanna Drinkwater from Grant McKnight accountants and Bell Lax trainee solicitors Sanne van Vroenhoven and Elizabeth Tolmie were all on hand to talk to Year 9 pupils about their respective career paths.
Joanna visited Highclare for the second year running to explain the route to becoming a chartered accountant - as well as discussing her early career and the events leading up to the decision to run her own business.
There were also guest parent speakers including Kate Whatley of SPV special projects for construction industry, Howard Evans (Howard Evans Roofing and Cladding) and RAF careers speaker, Sgt Andy Chambers, who also took a question and answer session.
A Highclare spokesperson said: “Highclare School is very grateful to all of our speakers who volunteered their time to talk to our young people.
“They have certainly helped our pupils to begin to understand the many career choices available to them in the future. ”
