Chamber members saddle up for 100-mile cycle challenge
A group of Sutton Coldfield Chamber members are gearing up to cycle 100 miles across the capital this weekend - in aid of the Chamber 's chosen charity.
Team members from the charity UK Sepsis Trust (UKST) will be joined by those from Ark Media, X2 Workspaces, Henwood Court Financial Planning and Quilter Cheviot are taking part in the Ride London challenge on Sunday.
All funds raised by the team will go to UKST, which was chosen as the Chamber 's Charity of the Year.
Among those taking part are Sutton Chamber president and Ark Media chief executive Phil Arkinstall and UKST 's fundraising manager Brian Davies (pictured), whose daughter Aoife developed and was treated for sepsis at just nine weeks old back in 2014.
Head of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber, Chris Brewerton, wished the team good luck, saying: "We 'd like to wish the teams from various Chamber members the very best of luck ahead of their bike ride on Sunday for Ride London, in support of our chosen charity .
"The money and awareness raised to continue the fight sepsis and encourage early diagnosis is vital and will undoubtedly save lives."
