Chamber members team up to host 'exit session '
Chamber members are joining forces to an event designed to help people plan for exiting their business.
Mere Green-based Grant McKnight Accountants are teaming up with Ansons Solicitors and Barclays Bank to host delegates at their co-working and meeting space, Grant McKnight House, on Friday 13 October.
Joining Grant McKnight chief executive Joanna Drinkwater will be Neil Jones, head of corporate and commercial at Ansons, with John Allen, chartered wealth planner and Dan Hunt, investment consultant at Barclays to discuss how to prepare for exiting your business.
The event, which starts at 10.30am, aims to advise how you can separate the emotional investment in your company to maximise saleability, how and when should you start to think, and plan for those changes and when the best time is to exit your business.
Joanna (pictured) said: “I'm delighted to host a preparing for exit session at our new offices GMK House, partnering with fellow Chamber members Barclays Bank and Ansons Solicitors to offer business owners invaluable insights and information about preparing for exit.
“Exit is inevitable for us all at some point so understanding the basics early on is key. ”
