Chamber partners with college to deliver coaching and mentoring information session

Solihull Chamber of Commerce has announced they will be partnering with Solihull College & University Centre to host a session on exploring how coaching and mentoring can transform workplace culture, boost employee engagement, and build leadership capacity.

Taking place on Wednesday, 26 November from 8:30am- 10:30am at Solihull College & University Centre, the session will cover practical ways to embed coaching conversations into your daily practice, how to create mentoring opportunities that inspire growth, and how to develop a workforce that feels valued, supported, and motivated to stay.

Attendees will hear from speakers Helen Hibbert (director of Permanent Recruitment at Pertemps) and Katie Miller (Quality Coach & Competitions lead at Solihull College & University Centre), with a Q&A session taking place afterwards.

With over 25 years’ experience in talent acquisition, Helen Hibbert is a passionate advocate for people development and the power of coaching-led cultures. As Director of Permanent Recruitment at Pertemps Network Group, she leads strategic hiring solutions across diverse sectors from business support and finance to engineering, HR, sales, and IT—helping organisations attract, retain, and grow exceptional talent.

Katie is an experienced coach and educator with over 20 years in training, leadership, and talent development. Beginning her career in the luxury beauty sector with CHANEL, Lancôme, and Shiseido, Katie developed expertise in communication, performance, and team motivation.
