Burton Chamber patron Document Network Services (DNS) is celebrating 25 years in business.

The business first began trading in a small office space on Macklin Street, Derby and now takes up residence in their very own Innovation Centre on Pride Park.

Since then, managing director Darren Marsh has grown the business from solely selling printers and copiers to nationally solving business process problems for organisations by supplying them with managed print, IT, document management and communications.

He said: “It 's crazy to think we have reached 25 years already; it only feels like yesterday that I was sat behind my very sparse desk in Macklin Street. It 's a fantastic achievement for me and the DNS Team and wouldn 't have been able to get here without them. I 'm very proud of where the company is today. ”

Tracey Morley, projects manager, is the longest serving employee at DNS. She explained why she has been a part of the team for so long: “I have been employed by DNS for the past 17 years, which I realise is a long time, but in my opinion, if something isn 't broken then don 't fix it!

"The various job roles I have undertaken has meant that I have never felt bored or unfulfilled.

"Darren has made me feel like part of the family and I think that is key for retaining your employees. I know that I am appreciated and that gives me the drive to work hard work and the willingness to go that extra mile. ”

To commemorate their anniversary, DNS are celebrating in a number of ways.

The firm will be using social media to pay homage to the last 25 years by posting a number of throwback images every Thursday in 2021.

They are also encouraging their customers and suppliers to share their memories of DNS over the years too.

DNS staff members will also collectively be running, swimming, cycling, jogging and walking 2,500km throughout April for charity.
