Chamber’s chosen charity announces Race Night event

The Cancer Support Centre have announced that they have been chosen by Chamber of Commerce members in Royal Sutton Coldfield to be their nominated Charity of the Year for 2024 and 2025.

Centre manager Jackie Price said: “This is fantastic news. Whatever the result, raising funds or working together in other ways, I’m sure this will make a real difference to the Centre, to our clients and their carers.”

The Centre has announced that their first event as part of the Chamber partnership will be a Race Night.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to raise the profile of your company through sponsorship of the event:

• Sponsor one or more of the eight races. You will get your company name and logo on the race card given to all guests for a minimum donation of £100 per race.
• If you can’t be there, you can name a horse for £10 or just £2 will give you entry into the Tricast sweepstake on Race 7, for a chance to win £75.
• Provide a raffle prize and you can raise your company’s profile on the night even more.

The event will be held at the Compass Suites, Aldridge, WS9 8NH at 7pm on Thursday, 27 June.  Ticket price is £17.50 to include Chilli & Rice or Vegetarian Lasagne.

The event will be seated in tables of ten people, however the Centre are able to accommodate smaller numbers as well.
