The Chamber 's latest Quarterly Business Report Survey closes today - meaning a final opportunity to win an overnight stay for two at Birmingham's Grand Hotel.

Participants will be entered into a draw to win an overnight stay for two people, including breakfast, at the revamped Grand Hotel (terms and conditions apply)

The 141-year-old hotel on Colmore Row has reopened its doors after 19 years, after undergoing a major restoration. The hotel boasts 185 bedrooms, restaurant and brasserie.

Data obtained by completing the survey forms Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce 's (GBCC) Quarterly Business Report - the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in Greater Birmingham.

The report provides snapshot of the region 's business community.

Underpinning the report is data gathered on key indicators such as sales, exports, investment intentions and the workforce.

On average, the survey takes respondents three minutes or less to complete.

This latest survey includes questions on public health and will help inform Birmingham Public Health on business views in regards to operating safely.

Raj Kandola, head of policy at GBCC, said: “The economic shock of the pandemic has been unprecedented. As we anticipate emerging from the final stages of the latest national lockdown, it is crucial that stakeholders and policy makers understand how businesses are being impacted by and responding to the unwinding of restrictive measures, keeping their people and customers safe, and planning for what lies ahead.

I highly encourage businesses across the city to complete the survey. Your response will not only inform economic policy but also key guidance and communications in regards to COVID-safety and support to enact best practice. ”
