Businesses are being encouraged to take part in Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce 's latest Quarterly Business Report survey.

And all respondents to the survey will be entered in to a draw to win an overnight stay for two at Birmingham 's Radisson Blu hotel, with breakfast included.

Surveying for the Q3 report runs from today until 13 September.

The report offers an up to date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community and it is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city region.

Underpinning the report is data gathered on key indicators such as sales, exports, investment intentions and the workforce.

On average, the survey takes respondents three minutes or less to complete.

Raj Kandola, head of policy at the GBCC, said: “With Covid-19 restrictions continuing to ease and a number of Government support measures such as the Job Retention Scheme due to end next month, we need your feedback now more than ever.

“It 's vital that we hear from as many firms as possible so we can properly assess the impact that these policy decisions are having on the local business landscape.

The results of this survey form the basis of our Quarterly Business Report publication which we use inform decision makers and stakeholders across the region.

“Our findings are also shared with key Government contacts at the Treasury, BEIS and the Bank of England, so your response will have a direct impact on Government policy at the highest level.

“We want to hear from start-ups to multinationals; respondents don 't need to be a CEO or Director to take part, just to have an understanding of how their business is performing. ”
