Chamber to unveil new president at AGM this week
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce will unveil a new president and vice-president at the annual general meeting this Friday.
It will take place at the Edgbaston Park Hotel.
As well as looking back on the work carried out by GBCC over the past 12 months, the AGM will offer outgoing president Deb Leary the opportunity to present a awards to members who have impressed during 2023.
Deb will then hand over the reins to her successor after completing her two-year term.
Speaking about the AGM, GBCC policy advisor Cameron Uppal said: “We look forward to welcoming you to reflect on the year gone by.
“Highlights of the year include a hugely successful annual awards night, successful campaigns such as our Growth Through People campaign and our Sustainable Business Series, along with many productive trade visits from international delegations.
“At this year's AGM we will be go through the formal process of welcoming our new president and vice-president of the Chamber, as long as handing out a number of awards to our fantastic members. We look forward to seeing you there."
