Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce is launching a series of new training courses to help firms and their employees learn about new rules and regulations around international trade.

The training courses are designed to help businesses who import and export, with multiple team members who need to get up to speed on the new regulations.

The courses included topics such as import procedures including inward processing and outward processing, commodity codes, a beginner 's guide to export and the British Chambers accredited agents and distributors webinar.

Discounts are available for firms who book multiple places.

Leah Quarmby (pictured), international trade training manager at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “Any company looking to train their team on export and import procedures can now book a bespoke training day.

“They get to choose what topics of training they need by either building their own package from the options provided, or choosing an overall topic, with the option for added extras where the company feel they would benefit from.

“The bespoke package means your team are learning together as one. The trainer will be able to provide advice for just their company.

“Investing in a bespoke package will mean all areas of your business from the buyer to the finance team will gain knowledge on the processes needed to keep you trading internationally, and making sure your team are all fully aware of any changes to documents and procedures after Brexit. ”
