Chambers ' awards judging panel revealed

The judging panel has been revealed for the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce awards.

Ten category awards will be handed out at the event which takes place at the Drayton Manor Hotel on Friday 3 February 2023.

Amazon is the headline sponsor for the awards dinner.

The judging panel, chaired by head of the Solihull Chamber Sam Frampton (pictured), will be Michelle Spaul of Delta Swan, Visit Knowle 's Kim Hulse, Amy Jacklin from Virgin Money and Omar Rashid, HR expert and co-president of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce.

Sam Frampton said: “These awards are now firmly embedded in the region 's business calendar and the standard of entries is getting higher each year.

“I look forward to chairing the judging panel - we will no doubt face a difficult task with so many high-quality businesses across the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock areas. ”

Michelle is the founder of customer experience service provider Delta Swan.

She said: “Judging in any awards is a pleasure and inspiration. Being able to recognise the hard work and achievement of so many vibrate, local businesses goes beyond that becoming an honour. ”

Kim Hulse is marketing manager at Visit Knowle, an award-winning organisation formed to promote and support local businesses in the Knowle area.

Kim said “I am delighted to be part of the judging panel for this year 's awards, recognising and celebrating the successes of local businesses. I look forward to reviewing all the applications and being inspired. ”

Amy Jacklin is the growth manager for Virgin Money, based in Birmingham - a role in which she supports her local community and builds relationships to make everyone feel happier about money.

Amy, who is also a vice-president of the Future Faces division of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “I 'm absolutely delighted to be invited to be a judge of these awards.

“There is so much talent and good work being done in these areas that I can 't wait to read all about.

“The awards will be a fantastic way of shouting about all of the amazing things going on in the area and recognising everyone that goes above and beyond. Good luck to everyone that enters. ”

Omar Rashid is co-president of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce and director/owner of The HR Dept Birmingham Central and Wolverhampton.

He is also a radio presenter on Unity FM with a show called The Business Hour and the co-host of business networking event The Breakfast Club.

Omar said: “I am honoured to be judging the SLTC Chamber awards and excited to see the talent on show.

“It takes courage to put yourself forward for an award and all applicants should be commended for this. ”
