The Greater Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire and Black Country Chambers of Commerce have launched a snap poll, seeking to understand the impact of the recent Jaguar Land Rover cyber-attack across the West Midlands.

Suppliers to Jaguar Land Rover, and firms which may have otherwise been impacted by the incident, are encouraged to complete the survey in order to ensure stakeholders are able to make informed decisions about potential support.

The poll takes five minutes to complete and will run until close of play Thursday (25 September).

Raj Kandola, acting deputy CEO of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “Jaguar Land Rover is a cornerstone employer in the West Midlands, and a linchpin of the modern-day manufacturing sector, with an extensive supply chain across the region.

“Due to the economic significance of the organisation, the impact of this cyber-attack will be felt acutely by many local businesses.

“We are proud to work closely with Jaguar Land Rover through their Patronage of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and remain committed to supporting both Jaguar Land Rover and firms in their supply chain as this situation develops.

“We hope that a resolution can be found shortly.”
