Charities unite in support of ‘the world’s toughest row’
An alliance of charities came together to celebrate the efforts taken by DeadLegz in their ambitious attempt to row 3,000 miles cross the Atlantic.
Dubbed as ‘The World’s Toughest Row’, Deadlegz will be raising funds for Arrive Alive charity, The Frank Bruno Foundation, and the Drop the Knife Campaign.
A recently held event brought the three charities together, giving a chance to connect, share stories, and spotlight the crucial work they’re doing in communities across the UK – from mental health support to knife crime prevention and life-saving emergency medical response.
The DeadLegz crew, which was founded on the principles that ordinary people can do extraordinary things include Rob Oliver, Matt Humphries, Kevin Joynes, and Tom Hayward.
Arrive Alive charity said in a statement: “Their challenge is immense, but they’re not doing it alone.
“A heartfelt thank you goes out to those who have already played a vital role in supporting this mission, including the incredible Joynes family, Valhalla Gyms Redditch, Viking Performance, GlastonBeoley Music Festival, BBC Hereford & Worcester, and Gareth Downing Media for your outstanding behind-the-scenes support.”
DeadLegz are actively seeking sponsors to help power their crossing and make a meaningful difference.
Sponsorship packages offer the unique opportunity for businesses to have their name or logo featured on a global stage.
