Charity launches Easter Campaign to raise funds across East Staffordshire
YMCA Burton is scheduled to launch their Easter Campaign on 4 March to raise vital funds to support their essential services that help people throughout East Staffordshire.
As part of their campaign, they will host a curry night at Apne on 4 March, which has been continuously and graciously supported by the restaurant’s owner, Mr Hussain, for over 10 years.
They will be joined by local singer Chris Baldwin, who will provide entertainment for the evening and they will also be holding a raffle and auction with amazing prizes.
Tickets are £25 per person and includes a delicious 4-course meal and can be purchased from their website.
Later in the month they will be hosting a Quiz which promises to be another enjoyable evening, which will provide an opportunity to socialise, relax and have fun with friends, colleagues, or family.
The tickets will cost £10 for a team of 4 and the date is to be confirmed. If interested, please contact [email protected] and they can send you the details when they become available.
YMCA Burton have also been given an amazing auction prize of the opportunity to enjoy a Corporate Hospitality box at Burton Albion Football Club on Monday 1 April for the match against Barnsley FC.
This superb offer is for up to 10 people and includes a 3-course meal – this would be a great way to celebrate the Easter weekend with your friends, colleagues or business contacts. Call 07754 045 869 to make a bid.
Following another year of challenges, YMCA Burton’s crucial frontline services have seen growth in all areas with its Foodbank especially experiencing its busiest year in its 23-year history.
The funds raised from their Easter campaign will help YMCA Burton continue their much-needed services as they rely on fundraising and donations from friends, supporters, Corporate businesses, Churches, community groups, Rotary groups, individuals and grant making foundations.
Paula Senior, fundraising and partnerships manager at YMCA Burton has said, “We always look forward to our Easter campaign and the first fundraising event of the year.
“We are forever grateful to Mr. Hussain at Apne for hosting us once again and look forward to seeing everyone there. The quiz is also a great evening with lots of fun and laughter involved. Please do come to one of these events and support us if you can.”
