The Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) charity has launched their first Winter Stars campaign.

The campaign is due to take place at Moseley Hall Hospital, West Heath Hospital, Sutton Cottage Hospital and West Midlands Rehab Centre.

The charity is looking for corporate sponsors to help support the campaign, which will help fund staff hampers, presents for patients, Christmas decorations for the wards and more.

The tiered packages range from £250 to £5,000 and include a light up star outside the hospital buildings, which will illuminate the front of the sites and brighten up patients’ time in hospital.

To say thank you to the sponsors, their logos will be added to patients’ presents and staff hampers, and on a banner outside of the hospital of their choice.

Stacey Taylor, engagement and communications lead for BCHC Charity said: “Spending winter, in particular the festive season, in a healthcare setting can be very upsetting, which is why each year BCHC Charity aim to spread some festive cheer throughout our hospitals and community services across the city.

“Your sponsorship will help us in providing gifts, crafts kits and activities, and entertainment for patients, service users and BCHC staff, bringing some sparkle to an otherwise potentially difficult period.”
