Charity to host pop-up stall of ladies evening wear tomorrow
Smart Works charity has announced a pop-up stall of ladies evening wear taking place tomorrow, at 54 Hagley Road.
The stall has been organised by the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) group of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) and is open to members of the public.
The clothes are brand new designer labels with a big reduction of the price.
Smart Works supports women, regardless of their unemployment circumstances.
At the heart of the charity sits an interview dressing and preparation service designed to help clients with a scheduled job interview feel and look their best at a crucial moment.
This includes a 60-minute dressing-appointment followed by a 60-minute personalised interview preparation, completely free of charge.
They also provide dedicated 60-minute Career Coaching sessions to clients to help them secure an interview and take the next step toward employment.
Kate Warnaby, GBCC office manager and ESG chair, said: “From an Environmental, Social and Governance perspective, supporting this charity aligns strongly with our commitment to inclusion and sustainability.
“Helping people feel confident and valued at a life‑changing moment, whilst redistributing new clothing it is sustainability and inclusion working hand in hand.”
