Children's area at Lichfield venue undergoes creative revamp

The popular children’s area at Lichfield venue The Hub at St Mary's has had an exciting creative revamp.

The area which forms part of The Hub's Community Coffee Shop has received a refresh thanks to funding from the Staffordshire County Council Community Fund and Lichfield City Council Small Grants fund. 

The revamp includes a range of new toys and a new collection of books. 

The Hub community engagement officer, Hayley Gilliam, said: "We really wanted the refurbished area to reflect the creative arts charity that we are, so we are putting a creative slant on what we put in there.

"We'll have a range of toys to help to develop children's creativity, from role play to construction, to sensory toys. It's ideally aimed at younger children - up to five years of age, to fill a gap for Lichfield’s young families through the week."
