City firms urged to have their say on Perry Barr masterplan
Birmingham City Council is urging local residents and businesses to have their say on a draft masterplan outlining how to further improve Perry Barr.
In July, the council launched its Perry Barr 2040 Masterplan which looks to maximise on opportunities associated with existing qualities of the area, the £700 million package of major projects being delivered in the area and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The council is consulting on the plan until 29 September.
The masterplan sets out initial ideas as to how Perry Barr could be developed in the next 20 years.
After the consultation ends, a final version of the Masterplan - supported by a comprehensive Delivery Plan - would then be put to the council's Cabinet for approval later this year.
As part of the consultation, the council will be hosting an online event for businesses to discuss the masterplan and their views on 9 September from 8.30am.
